This National Family Caregivers Month EngAging Illinois in celebrating #ThanksCaregiving! What better time to honor everyone who helps take care of someone. Many of us are caregivers—even if we don’t call ourselves that. We help a family member or friend with daily tasks, errands, or medical needs. We coordinate care and handle insurance issues.
Caring for someone is an act of love and for some, a duty. It can be rewarding but challenging. And caregivers deserve care and attention, too.
