Work Groups
EngAging Illinois is an ambitious initiative with four areas of focus and dozens of strategies and actions. To ensure the Plan is achievable, there are numerous work groups tasked with:
- Building awareness of the multisector plan
- Meeting regularly to drive and review progress
- Engaging needed collaborators to move the work forward
- Ensuring, where appropriate, that issues critical to older adults are considered by the General Assembly and county and local governments
Work group members include representatives of State agencies, community organizations, businesses, health and academic institutions, caregivers, older adults, and other members of the community.
